The Dream Train

Chug-a-chug, whistle blow,
The Dream Train’s ready to go.
Climb aboard, don’t be late,
A magical journey awaits.

Through tunnels of twilight we’ll glide,
Past fields where moonflowers hide.
Over bridges of stardust we’ll chug,
Each car cozy, warm, and snug.

The Sandman’s our conductor tonight,
Sprinkling dreams left and right.
We’ll pick up friends along the way,
Teddy bears and dolls, hip hooray!

Listen to the lullaby wheels,
Singing of how sleepy it feels.
Watch the night scenery roll by,
Until heavy are your eyes.

Now we’ve reached Slumberland station,
Journey’s end, time for elation.
Tucked in tight, safe and sound,
Sweet dreams to you, sleep profound.

Goodnight, little one, rest your head,
The Dream Train’s reached your bed.
